Counselling in progress

The Hope Project

The Hope Project is an initiative that provides qualified counsellors to agencies and organisations where otherwise these opportunities might not exist. We work to promote health and wellbeing in a safe and therapeutic environment.

Qualified to a minimum of Diploma standard the counsellor shall have substantial experience of providing therapy to a range of clients. The counsellor will provide weekly or fortnightly appointments with the client, undertake an initial assessment of their needs and recommend a length of time for therapy and a suitable approach. A counsellor will then be placed with your organisation or client appropriately, matching client’s needs with the skills and experience of the counsellor.

What to expect from us

  • We can provide a counsellor to cover as many hours as is required to cover the needs of your client’s or organisation.
  • We would ensure CRB check was undertaken before counsellor entering the role and will manage all clerical, supervisory and risk issues internally, without obligation to yourselves.
  • We will pay the counsellor for their time, and invoice your organisation separately for the amount at the end of each month of provision with a 28 day return on payments outstanding.
  • There will be no payroll, pension or holiday obligation for yourselves toward the counsellor.
  • We will evaluate the helpfulness and effectiveness of our services by undertaking routine evaluations with the clients. This data will be available for your organisation.
